Markens P-hus opened May 1st, 2025
Markens P-hus has finally opened. The location is right in the heart of Kristiansand’s city center, just by Markens gate, and will be a new addition to the city for both short-term and long-term parking. The facility consists of two sections: an outdoor parking area in the courtyard and an indoor garage within the building.
From Markens P-hus/outdoor parking in the backyard, you’re just a short walk from attractions like Kilden Performing Arts Centre, the Fish Wharf with its cozy seafood restaurants, and Bystranda – a charming beach in the middle of the city.

Markens gate
Markens gate, often simply called “Markens” by locals, is Kristiansand’s main street and the city’s most important shopping street. It stretches from the train station in the south all the way up to Kristiansand Cathedral.
Fiskebrygga
Fiskebrygga in Kristiansand is a lively and charming harbor area that blends maritime history with modern city life, along with many cozy restaurants. A visit here gives you the chance to enjoy a delicious meal with views of the canal.
Kunstsilo
Kunstsilo is a groundbreaking art museum in Kristiansand that opened its doors in May 2024. The museum is the result of an extensive transformation of a former grain silo from 1935, located on Odderøya, into a modern center for art and culture.
Palmesus
Palmesus is Scandinavia’s largest beach party and one of Norway’s most spectacular music festivals. The festival is held annually at Bystranda in downtown Kristiansand, and in 2025 it will take place on July 4–5.

Opened in May 2025. The parking facility consists of outdoor parking in the courtyard and indoor parking in the garage. It has a very central location in the heart of Kristiansand city center, just a stone’s throw from the pedestrian street Markens gate. A vibrant urban area with shops, restaurants, and cafés. Vestre Torv P-hus is centrally located right next to the pedestrian street Markens gate in downtown Kristiansand. The same building also houses health and medical services. Lillemarkens P-hus has a direct connection to the Lillemarkens shopping center and the popular shopping street Markens gate in the city center. Kasernen P-hus is centrally located in Kristiansand, with entry from Kongens gate leading into a pleasant garden before descending into the garage. It’s a short walking distance to Apartment Kongensgate, Aquarama, Palmesus, hotels, and restaurants. Read more about Kasernen P-hus
Kilden P-hus is centrally located on Odderøya, right next to Markens gate and the city center. Kilden Performing Arts Centre, Knuden School of Culture, and the newly opened Kunstsilo are located right beside the garage, making it a great starting point for both cultural and city experiences. The outdoor parking Banehaven 4 is centrally located to Fjellgata 10, with office and commercial buildings nearby. It’s just a short walk to the well-known recreational area Baneheia and to Kvadraturen, the heart of Kristiansand city. We usually have ample capacity available here. Read more about Banehaven 4
The outdoor parking Tordenskjoldsgate 65 is centrally located in Kristiansand city center, with a connection to Agder County Municipality. Elvegata P-hus is an open parking facility connected to Circle K Elvegaten. The facility is centrally located in Kristiansand city center. We offer both short-term and long-term parking, whether you're just stopping by briefly or looking to rent on a monthly basis. Read more about Elvegata P-hus
